On your first visit you will be offered some paperwork to be filled in. Information about you, your current problem, medical history and any accidents or injuries you have sustained will be recorded. Your lifestyle, job, family history, dietary habits and other care to date may also be discussed. You will then be taken to a private consultation room where you will be offered a gown. The chiropractor will then perform an examination which may include:
- standard orthopaedic and neurological tests
- observation of posture to assess biomechanical stresses
- examination of individual joints
- X-Ray imaging (when clinically necessary)
